Growing Nai was born out of Nai’s need to ‘grow’ her circumstances after being left a single mother with CPTSD after an incredibly abusive relationship. Nai instinctively took to poetry, journaling and artistic expression to outlet/process the memories and experiences overwhelming her system.

Poetry brought Nai a connection to her inner best friend and compassion instead of being dominated by the voice of abuse that lived on after the abuse had ended. Nai journeys through her poetry, breaking through chains of limiting self talk and finding deeper purpose and meaning in all she experiences.

“Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate.”

- Carl Jung
